This compact cordless inflator was designed from the inside out—with a strong focus on ergonomics, intuitive touchpoints, and user experience.
The original pistol-grip layout placed the motor inside the handle, making it bulky and awkward to hold. Through hands-on prototyping and user testing, I found an alternative internal layout that allowed us to keep the same motor but reposition it in front of the handle. This change freed up the grip, making it slimmer, more balanced, and far more comfortable in hand.
The result is a compact D-handle design with soft rubber over-mold, offering a secure, ergonomic grip during use. I also designed the digital interface to be large, clean, and easy to read—making pressure settings and feedback intuitive. Onboard storage for accessories keeps everything organized and within reach.
This inflator is now in the market, and users love how it feels and performs.
